Pig
«Pig» is a large, transparent pig. Inside it is a sign that says: «This is a community fund, you can contribute to it if you like, and when you’ve agreed how to spend it you can open me and spend it. #ThePig.» And that's it. Everything else is done by the community. So: you. And me. And everyone else, too. Let’s just say: we.
«Pig» has already been to Norway, the Netherlands, France, Spain and various places in the UK where it comes from. Go to www.pigzine.com for stories of what happened to «Pig» in other cities. We are curious to see what it will experience here in the land of banks and gold reserves.
The British production company Kaleider develops installations and performances that invite the audience to participate. There is a framework and rules, but the outcome is open in the greatest possible way. At auawirleben 2017, Kaleider performed «The Money» at Erlacherhof and in the Old Castle of Bümpliz.
